“Homecoming”

Even though I am running on no sleep- I can’t wait to go out in Plymouth tonight.

With our busy schedules, I never get to see my friends Kim and Collette even though we all live in Chicago. Since we grew up together- this will be a great chance to see each other while also catching up with old friends.

I’m most looking forward to seeing Jake. He’s the last real boyfriend I’ve had- 7 years ago. We went to high school together and I thought Jake had a crush on me but the truth was that he thought I was a dork and wouldn’t give me the time of day . At Michigan State we worked together at PT O’Malley’s where I bartended and he was a bar back- and after two weeks on the job Jake finally decided I was cool enough to date.

Our breakup was extremely tough for me, but living in LA helped. I’m glad we have remained so close, even though our lives are so different now. He’s one of the only people I’ve ever met who truly challenge me- and he’s inspiring to be with.

Plymouth is a small town and Thanksgiving and Christmas are always make for some funny brunch conversations for the three of us girls.
