Taking Advice

I was raised with too much love.

Seriously. My parents always told me how great I was even when I tried to play basketball or sing.

Now that I’m a grown-up I have trouble listening to advice sometimes. Like editing my spelling in blog posts (but it’s a blog! or hair extensions (but I only look good with long hair!) or my choice of attire (the dress looked more stylish like that!).

Not good.

I’m learning to listen to advice and take it.

Today my dermatologist prescribed Retin-A for me… again. I wasn’t blessed with the best skin, and keeping it clear is a challenge. I’m going to make a 100 percent effort to try this- even if it’s not so much fun at first.
